Google Business Profile management
Someone types your trade and their suburb. Google puts three businesses above everything else, and almost nobody scrolls past them. Which three? That is decided by your Google Business Profile, not by your website, not by how good you are.
Most tradies claim the profile, pick one category, upload a couple of photos and never open it again. That is the whole reason the bloke with worse work is sitting where you should be.
This is the highest-leverage thing we do, so it is the first thing we fix.
What you get
What you actually get, in plain English
- Your profile claimed and verified, or the verification process handled for you if Google has suspended or duplicated it.
- The right primary category and secondary categories chosen — this alone moves rankings more than most website work.
- Every service you offer listed individually, with a written description for each.
- Service areas set to the suburbs you actually want work in, not a 50km circle.
- Opening hours, public holiday hours, phone, and a call-tracked or direct number set correctly.
- Your photos uploaded, named and geotagged: real jobs, your vehicles, your team, before and after.
- The Q&A section seeded with the questions customers actually ask, answered properly.
- Duplicate or old listings for your business found and removed so they stop splitting your ranking.
First 30 days
Exactly what happens in your first thirty days
- Week 1: we get access to your profile, audit it against the businesses currently outranking you, and send you the list of what is wrong.
- Week 1–2: categories, services, service areas, hours and description rebuilt.
- Week 2: first batch of photos uploaded — we will ask you to send job photos from your phone, that is the one thing we need from you.
- Week 3: duplicate listings reported and removed, business details corrected across the directories Google cross-checks.
- Week 4: first Google posts published and your baseline map ranking recorded so we can show movement from here.
Ongoing
Then what happens every single month after that
- Google posts published every week — job updates, service reminders, seasonal work.
- New job photos uploaded as you send them through.
- New questions answered in Q&A, and any customer-submitted answers checked and corrected.
- Hours updated ahead of public holidays and shutdowns.
- Profile monitored for unauthorised edits, category changes and suspension risk, which Google does without warning.
- Monthly report showing your map ranking movement across your service area.
Your part
What we need from you (almost nothing)
Short list, deliberately. You are on the tools, not in meetings.
- Send us job photos from your phone when you remember. A group chat or shared album is fine.
- Tell us when your hours change or you add a service.
- That is it. We do not need you in meetings.
Want to see exactly where you stand right now?
One business per trade, per area. Once your trade is taken in your suburb, it is taken.
